DPH — Office of Population Health

2023 – 2024

Scope: Registrar of Vital Records succession & transition.

Our Impact:

  • ​​Supported​ the Assistant Commissioner and Director of the Office of Population Health in a smooth transition of retiring Registrar of Vital Records. 
  • ​​Developed​​ ​senior management vision for the future of the Registry of Vital Records.​  
  • Developed a success profile, screened candidates, and facilitated an equitable interview process—delivering a short-list of three high-caliber finalists ahead of schedule. 
  • Conducted stakeholder interviews to identify mission-critical risks and craft a future‐state vision.  
  • Screened resumes and conducted initial phone screens, recommended best candidates to interview.

Massachusetts Division of Banks

2023 - 2024

Scope: DEI-focused recruitment services

Our Impact:

  • From Oct ’23-Sept ’24 the team conducted:  735 candidates’ resume review; 105 phone screens; hiring of 30 staff; 49 new hire check-ins; 24 supervisor check-ins.
  • Coordinated candidate resume screening processes, conducted phone screening interviews, developed interview questions for all rounds of interviews, and scheduled interview teams. 
  • Brought an equity lens that centers diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and accessibility to personnel planning, position development, hiring, onboarding, and succession planning.  
  • Conducted quality improvement assessments to continually improve hiring processes. 
  • Delivered training to hiring managers/team to improve hiring and retention outcomes. 
  • Prepared detailed hiring, planning, and tracking tools to ensure positions were hired effectively, efficiently, and within anticipated timelines. 

Developed and implemented recruitment plans prioritizing diverse and talented candidates.

DPH — Bureau of Health Professions Licensure

2022 – 2023

Scope: Integrating 13 boards from the Department of Occupational Licensure.

Our Impact:

  • Integrated 19 new staff and 11 board structures into BHPL, updating org charts, Form 30s, and MQs. 
  • Provided mentoring and change-management support that ensured uninterrupted licensure services. 
  • Delivered current vs. future-state gap analysis and a phased transition roadmap.  
  • Updated current operating structure to reflect future following expansion.  
  • Updated BHPL organizational and staffing structure to reflect/support this expansion.   
  • Developed guidance and mentoring support during the transition period.
